I've been to France on holiday and visited the Musée de la Ceramique (Ceramics Museum) in the city of Rouen. It has a collection stretching from the 16th to the 18th century of the faience that made Rouen one of Europe’s most famous centers for earthenware.
Rouen har länge varit en viktig plats för fajansproduktion, erkänd för sin kvalitet och för sina fina motiv. Här finns ett museum med över 6000 föremål, det besökte jag och dottern första söndagen i juli då det var gratis entré.
I think there might have been other colours too, but I didn't see them ...
Det kan ha funnits andra färger på porslinet också ...
