I went to the annual "Vårsalongen" here in Stockholm last Saturday. It's an exhibition with loads of different art forms, made of both established and non-established artists. My favorite piece of art this year was a wall of birds, made by artist Thomas Karlsson from tin cans.

Wow, those from tin cans? I admire his creations. Perfect shots!
SvaraRaderaHey that's a fun project - how many cans of beer were drunk to make the wall of birds? It's very effective, I can see why it would be your favourite.
SvaraRaderaHave a great week

I'm glad those birds and their sharp edges are firmly tethered!

SvaraRaderaBy the way, I love the poem about blue on your sidebar :)

SvaraRaderaWhat a great way to recycle. Those are truly unique!
SvaraRaderaGorgeous, it's amazing what creativity can do with what it is offered.
SvaraRaderaNever saw anything like this. Thanks for sharing.
SvaraRaderaI really love these! RHS Wisley Gardens holds a local sculpture society exhibition every year and one artist had made some similar pieces that were displayed in The Glasshouse where I've been photographing the butterflies. They worked so well amongst the tropical plants!
